THOMAS LÜTHI

beekeeper

Thomas Lüthi has been taking care of bees since 2012. He has set up and taken over apiaries in the Morges District from the edge of the Lake to the foot of the Jura. He started with introductory courses in SAR beekeeping at the agricultural school open to all at Domaine de Marcelin (Morges). He then followed the Beekeeping courses in the beekeeping section of La Côte.

This course gave him a good foundation in beekeeping. On the other hand, the mostly atypical schools he attended certainly provided him with many tools for a profession that touches on so many other areas, including woodworking, the use of various tools in maintenance, repairs and adaptations of equipment, not to mention the tools used by landscapers for the maintenance of the surroundings of apiaries.

His passion for beekeeping began in his youth, observing a wild colony.
